Attaching the iPhone to the hand grip:

  • Remove the iPhone from the case if it has one (the mic plug will not fit with most cases)
  • Turn the adjustment wheel on the top of the Shoulder Pod Hand grip so that it is wide enough to accept the iPhone:IMG_1308
  • Slide iPhone into the jaw of the grip, make sure the power button is on the right-hand side or in some cases your pictures or video may be upside down.shoulder pod
  • Tighten  the adjustment wheel until the iPhone is snug in the grip do not over tighten.IMG_1262

 Connecting the hand grip to the tripod:

  • Open quick release lever and place the bottom of the grip into the locking hole in the top of the tripodQuick release

Tilting, leveling the tripod head:

  • Loosen the tilt wheel, position the head and re-lock the wheel.

Cool Tripod Hack:

  • Release the head of the tripod from the main body by depressing this button and pulling out the head assembly.

  • You can now use the top half of the tripod as a poor man’s steady cam.
